They serve free breakfasts for all tastes with hottish eggs, scrambled eggs. All in all they offer friendly service. It's nice to have concierge service and wake up calls for free too.

The room was nice modern with jacuzzi and TV, as for instance, booked it for US$ 346. We truly enjoyed staying here, the breakfast was nice hot and light for vegetarians...

The location is really convinient, a few mins walk to the Palace, Plaza de la Sol, Gran Via and Plaza Mayor.
The room is really small, some staffs are not too good in English.

I liked the location of Hotel Opera most of all! It was great, almost next to the royal palace!

The location of the hotel was excellent and within walking distance of most sites, shops and places to eat. Not a problem getting to anywhere as there are also 2 Metro stops close by (Santo Domingo and Opera)
The room specified that it was soundproofed but it was not. After the second night we requested to move because our American neighbours were arguing for 5 hours. We could hear every word. Also the room did not provide tea and coffee facilities which is a must for British tourists who can not function for the day without a cup of tea.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location near metro and attractions. We did not need a cab during our entire stay in Madrid and easy to ride metro from airport and to train station. The shower could have been cleaner, but I tend to be very critical of cleanliness.

The location of the hotel is perfect! It is situated "extremely" central, but still has calm and quiet surroundings. You can go on foot wherever you wish. We received a very warm welcome at our arrival. It was very quiet, both in the rooms and in the corridor. The rooms are very attractive, decorated in a new modern, but at the same time, classic style. They were perfectly cleaned and they have no carpets, which is good. Bed linen is very fresh-looking. There is an ac system in the rooms which is easy to use. You can also open the windows. The bathrooms are very large, the shower place with much more space than usual. This is great. The rooms, as well as the bathrooms, have a lot of lamps - this is important. The minibar is really cold and I noticed already at home, that the rooms are equipped with a smoke detector, which is something I appreciate! We just had breakfast at the hotel. A lovely buffet, from which you could find everything you would like. After this breakfast, you really were prepared to go out and experience Madrid!

Spoiler alert, it's worth it!
This cozy gem offers an unbeatable location near the Royal Palace and Teatro Real. Strolling through lively streets, I found excellent tapas bars nearby. The staff provided personal touches, including a late check-out. The breakfast had a great variety, although some busy mornings led to a few delays. Highly recommended!

The location of this sleek and modern hotel can't be beat, near culture, several good restaurants, sight seeing and shoppping. The staff was patient, helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommended it to my brother for his next visit to Madrid. The neighborhood feels safe and inviting to tourists.
The next time around I would ask for a room facing the interior since there is some noise late at night from the nearby plaza and early morning from street.

Nice and confortable rooms, quiet area but very near Gran Via and Sol, one bloc distance from Metro Opera. Staff was very friendly. Good value for money.
Some of the individual rooms are to small.

This hotel is located half a block away from the Opera metro station only a couple stops away (or a 15 to 20-minute walk) from the Peurta del Sol area where there are tons of shops and restaurants, You can also catch the Madrid Tourist bus (hop-on, hop-off with links to two routes) just around the corner.
We were very satisfied with everything about this hotel ... except ... that our room on the third floor was extremely noisy from street sounds. Rick Steves recommends the hotel, but he must have stayed on one of the top floors which, if you could be assured of getting a room on, would be perfect.
